When I was in my early twenties, I was fortunate enough to go to a business event in Auckland, New Zealand, run by Brad Sugars – this event changed the course of my life. At the time, I was 21, and I had just started a new business. This was such a massive learning curve for me as I gained so much knowledge and a method to pursue business.

WHY IS THIS BOOK WORTH THE HYPE? 

The E-Myth stands for the entrepreneurial Myth, which is the flawed assumption that business owners who are experts in their industry will ensure that they are successful in their business. The reality is that most of us start a business in the area that we are trained in. For example, I started a family law firm because I am a fabulous family lawyer. The book’s principle is that just because you are running a business in an area that you are great in doesn’t mean that you will have a great business.
